Here's another I'm particularly proud of, not only because it's so close to home, but because it's one I picked up during lockdown right in the middle of the Covid19 2020 pandemic.
Working on a project where the previous interior had been ripped out, sourcing product, and working around the working restrictions of working with other trades was a real challenge.
Not to mention the children being off school at the same time!
The pub hadn't been updated since the current owners had taken over - some 15 years I believe, so it was an opportunity to make quite a difference. We turned what was previously front and back dining areas sideways which I felt would allow the two spaces (separated by the original exterior wall) to flow more seamlessly into each other.
Each area was treated separately with a theme running through out. Ebay became a great source for vintage chairs which were reupholstered in fire retardant fabrics. The subtle wallpaper has mutliple shades which were picked out in the paint choices.
A particular highlight are the women's toilets, duel countertop sinks on an original Ercol piece with statement mirrors and the most gorgeous wallpaper. I wish it was in my own home!
