Bathroom design: dark luxury, York

A barely recognisable room following the complete rip out and re model of this family bathroom. I selected luxury solid stone tiles in two shades from the same collection – and used the complimenting décor tiles as a feature.

Whilst the layout was a challenge, we achieved what we thought was impossible, creating a fabulous wetroom area as well as a stand alone feature bath. With fittings all as concealed as possible, I source a design led standalone console sink as the feature point and the room design was built from here.

The large window allowed the confident choice of the darker tiles, which gives a really indulgent and luxurious finish, alongside carefully selected accessories and bespoke shelving made to match in perfectly with the wood of the teak unit.
